Program
Smartphone photography technique
We start the workshop with an explanation of all the possibilities of the smartphone camera.
Photography Technique
This covers topics such as composition, framing, focus, and the art of lighting. For example, we explain how to add more depth to your photos using lines and what composition rules you can apply for a balanced photo.
Ready, set, photo!
After a bit of smartphone camera and photography technique, the participants receive various assignments.
Edit photos
The participants will edit the different assignments with the Snapseed app.
Feedback time
We end the workshop by discussing with each other based on the photos taken what went well and what didn't. Participants receive tips and tricks on how they can improve and edit their photos even better.

Practical information
Duration
The photography team outing lasts between 1.5 and 3.5 hours. We tailor the content and program to the available time and your wishes.
Number of participants
Suitable for teams of 6 to 30 participants. For larger groups, we work with two trainers.
Location
The team outing can take place anywhere in the Netherlands: at your own location, in a city, at an event venue, or in an inspiring outdoor setting.
Requirements
Participants only need a charged smartphone with the free Snapseed app installed. We use this app to select and edit the photos taken.
Costs
The cost of our photography workshop as a team outing consists of a fixed base rate of €350, supplemented with a price per participant starting at €45 (excluding VAT and travel expenses).
The final price per person depends on the duration of the workshop, the number of participants, and the exact details of the program.

Where can the team outing take place?
The team outing can take place anywhere in the Netherlands: at your office, around a meeting location, in a city center, park, or another inspiring environment. We are happy to help you find a suitable location.
Does the team outing take place inside or outside?
The practical part preferably takes place outside, as there are many different subjects and creative possibilities to be found there. For explanations, photo editing, and group discussions, an indoor space is convenient.
How many participants can participate?
The team outing is suitable for groups from 6 up to about 30 participants. For larger groups, we work with two trainers to ensure everyone receives sufficient guidance and the program runs smoothly. For groups of more than 30 people, we are happy to discuss the possibilities.
What happens with bad weather?
A little rain doesn't have to be a problem and can even result in unique photos. In case of very bad weather, we can adjust the program and make more use of the indoor location or a covered area. We are happy to discuss the possibilities with you in advance.
Can the program be customized?
Yes. We can tailor the assignments and content to your organization, location, theme, or objectives. Think of collaboration, creativity, and getting to know each other in a different way, but also of creating professional business images for, for example, LinkedIn or Instagram.
This way, participants can practice photography that is immediately useful for their own organization and social media. This makes the workshop not only a fun and creative team outing, but also practical and useful for daily work.
Is smartphone photography experience required?
No, experience with smartphone photography is not required. The workshop is suitable for both beginners and participants who have photographed before. Everyone works at their own level and receives practical tips that can be applied immediately.
Which app is being used for editing the smartphone photo's?
We use the free app Snapseed. Participants are asked to install this app on their smartphone beforehand.
What is the duration of the smartphone photography training as a team outing?
The duration can be tailored to your program and preferences. The team outing can range from approximately 1.5 to 3.5 hours. With a longer program, there is more time for explanations, photography assignments, photo editing, and a joint debrief.
Can the smartphone photography workshop as a team outing also be provided in the English language?
Yes, the team outing smartphone photography can be provided in both Dutch and English.
The open workshop takes place monthly on Saturday mornings in our film studio in Bussum. We provide in-company trainings and teambuilding workshops on location, throughout the Netherlands.
