- Short and practical photography introduction
We start with a brief, accessible explanation about smartphone photography. Participants discover how to take better photos using simple camera settings and photography techniques. - Heading out in small teams
Next, we divide the participants into small teams. Each team receives a number of creative photo assignments. This way, everyone gets actively involved, naturally fostering collaboration, fun, and a healthy dose of competition. - Photographing together
During the assignments, team members look for unique subjects, original perspectives, and strong compositions. They discover how differently everyone views the same environment. These different perspectives often lead to surprising results. - Selecting and editing the best photos
After photographing, each team selects their best photos. Participants learn how to make these even stronger with a few simple edits. - Viewing the results together
We conclude the photography team outing together. The teams present their favorite photos and briefly explain the choices they made.

For which teams is this photography outing suitable?
This photography outing is suitable for teams who want to do something active, creative, and relaxing together. Think of company outings, department days, off-site meetings, or an informal team-building activity.
No photography experience is required. Everyone can participate at their own level and simply take photos with their own smartphone. This outing is suitable for both small and larger teams, and for colleagues with different interests and skills.

Duration
The photography team outing lasts between 1.5 and 3.5 hours. We tailor the content and program to the available time and your wishes.
Number of participants
Suitable for teams of 6 to 30 participants. For larger groups, we work with two trainers.
Location
The team outing can take place anywhere in the Netherlands: at your own location, in a city, at an event venue, or in an inspiring outdoor setting.
Requirements
Participants only need a charged smartphone with the free Snapseed app installed. We use this app to select and edit the photos taken.
Costs
The cost of our photography workshop as a team outing consists of a fixed base rate of €350, supplemented with a price per participant starting at €45 (excluding VAT and travel expenses).
The final price per person depends on the duration of the workshop, the number of participants, and the exact details of the program.

What will participants be able to do after this workshop?
After this workshop, your participants will be able to take beautiful photos with their smartphones and edit them using the Snapseed app. They will also know how to export the photos to social media such as Instagram, X, or to an email message. In addition, we teach the participants about other good photography apps available and other cool editing apps.

Where can the team outing take place?
The team outing can take place anywhere in the Netherlands: at your office, around a meeting location, in a city center, park, or another inspiring environment. We are happy to help you find a suitable location.
Does the team outing take place in or outdoors?
The practical part preferably takes place outdoors, as there are many different subjects and creative possibilities to be found there. For explanations, photo editing, and group discussions, an indoor space is convenient.
How many participants can participate?
The team outing is suitable for groups from 6 up to about 30 participants. For larger groups, we work with two trainers to ensure everyone receives sufficient guidance and the program runs smoothly. For groups of more than 30 people, we are happy to discuss the possibilities.
What happens when the weather is bad?
A little rain doesn't have to be a problem and can even result in unique photos. In case of very bad weather, we can adjust the program and make more use of the indoor location or a covered area. We are happy to discuss the possibilities with you in advance.
Can the program be customized to our company and team
Yes. We can tailor the assignments and content to your organization, location, theme, or objectives. Think of collaboration, creativity, and getting to know each other in a different way, but also of creating professional business images for, for example, LinkedIn or Instagram.

Do the participants need to have smartphone photography experience?
No, experience with photography is not required. The workshop is suitable for both beginners and participants who have photographed before. Everyone works at their own level and receives practical tips that can be applied immediately.
Which app is being used for editing?
We use the free app Snapseed. Participants are asked to install this app on their smartphone beforehand.
What is the duration of the smartphone photography workshop as a team outing?
The duration can be tailored to your program and preferences. The team outing can range from approximately 1.5 to 3.5 hours. With a longer program, there is more room for explanation, photography assignments, photo editing, and a joint debrief.
Can the workshop als be provided in English?
Yes, the team outing smartphone photography can be provided in both Dutch and English.
The open workshop takes place monthly on Saturday mornings in our film studio in Bussum. We provide in-company trainings and teambuilding workshops on location, throughout the Netherlands.
